“We had an AMAZING trip.  Our guide was great … so knowledgeable and he knew the best place to watch animals. We saw the Big 5 as well as the Big 9.  Accommodations were top-notch and the hot air balloon ride was awesome.

A wildebeest escapes from the crocodile

Spring

By the end of June or July, as the rains dwindle, huge columns of wildebeest and zebra cross the crocodile-infested Grumeti River into the Maasai Mara, where there is permanent water.

This is an ideal time for viewing game including zebra, wildebeest, predators and forest species such as colobus monkeys.
