REASONS NOT TO VISIT

Botswana is one of Africa’s last pristine lands. It offers visitors some of the best wildlife viewing in the world. This is an animal kingdom: primitive, authentic, and unbelievable. Spotting lions and herds of elephants is a daily pleasure.

Botswana’s vast, untamed lands include the lush Moremi Game Reserve, Chobe National Park, Central Kalahari and the mighty Okavango Delta. You can witness a great migration of zebra from Chobe River in Nxai Pan National Park or you can take a sunset moko safari, gliding past hippo and crocodile as they spend their days in and around the waters of the Moremi Game Reserve.

Road signs warn of crossing elephants, rhinos wander across isolated airstrips, and cicadas serenade you to sleep in your luxury sanctuary lodge.

A Botswana safari is an exceptional experience successfully combining high-end luxury with real off-the-beaten-track adventure. Trekerie’s local Botswana experts will design a Botswana vacation for you that will live in your heart long after you have returned home.

A moko safari, a trip by “mokoro”, the traditional Bostwanan canoe, through the waterways of the Moremi Game Reserve will glide you past hippos, crocodile and other abundant wildlife as they go about their day in and around the water.

This wonderful experience will bring you closer to nature than you may ever been. While you will enjoy a moko safari at any time of day, floating gently along under a setting sun is unbelievably romantic and definitely one to consider for couples or honeymooners.
